Should they or shouldn't they?

Calling all Single in the City and/or Misfortune Cookie readers...

I'm about to start writing the final installment of the Single in the City series and I want to know:

Do you want to see Hannah get together with Sam to live happily ever after? Please vote in the poll above, and feel free to chat in the Comments.

Thanks!

  2. You know, I really think she's better off without him! He was kind of a jerk to her, and I think she's much stronger without him!

  3. I voted no. I think Hannah should fall in love with a "nice guy" - the kind that she mentions in her first two books as the kind that girls would rather be friends with. But those are the best ones to marry! Nice guys shouldn't always finish last! :)

  4. He should be kicked to the curb and she should find someone better! The answer is NO!

  5. I truly think Hannah is a much stronger, more interesting character without Sam. I enjoyed the parts of Misfortune Cookie with Hannah's solo escapades much more than the scenes with Sam. That said, I'm all for her finding a new man that treats her like Sam should have all along.

  6. I agree with all the "no" posts. I don't think Sam is very nice to Hannah, and she definitely deserves better. Yes, Hannah is an independent woman who doesn't need a man to be strong, etc., yet I still hope she finds the right guy to make her happy!

  7. Sam had so much potential after Single in the City. I really wanted them to work out. But Misfortune Cookie has given me pause. It even launched a whole conversation with my husband last night about whether you can truly care (even love) someone and be OK with "seeing other people". I thought it might be a guy thing, but my husband said "no". If you are interested in a future with someone, you don't agree to see other people. So...Hannah needs to meet someone better.

  8. I also voted "No". Like the others, I think Hannah is better off without Sam. Her new boss, however, who seems to understand where Hannah is coming from....he's another matter altogether.

  9. Liked Sam in the first book but as noted by others, was not a big fan of him in the second book. They should be friends as obviously they have a connection but his relationship with the other woman was very off putting and dishonest.
